UF/IFAS Escambia Extension will offer a "Basics to Canning" course Saturday, March 25 from 9-11 a.m. at the Extension offices, located at 3740 Stefani Road. This informative class is open to anyone interested in learning how to preserve fruits and vegetables. No prior experience is necessary.
Registration is required to reserve a spot. Registration is available online for $15 plus an event fee, or by check for $13. Click here to register online. Checks can be made out to University of Florida and mailed to UF/IFAS Escambia Extension, 3740 Stefani Road, Cantonment, Fla. 32533. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 22.
