Author Visit: Ed Hudson “As the Crow Flies: The Redemption of an International Drug Smuggler”

•    Wednesday Dec. 7, 10:30 a.m. – Molino Library

Join us at the Molino Library as we welcome Retired Florida Department of Law Enforcement Special Agent Ed Hudson as he discusses his book “As the Crow Flies: The Redemption of an International Smuggler.” A true tale from right here in Escambia County with buried treasure to boot! Don’t miss it.

Baby Story Time at Your Library

•    Mondays, 10:30-11 a.m. – Pensacola Library

•    Tuesdays, 10:30-11 a.m. – Tryon Library

Join us for stories, songs and rhymes. This program is suggested for babies ages 0 to 2 years and their caregivers but open to everyone.

Bellview Book Club

•    Wednesday, Dec. 14, 5 p.m. – Bellview Library

Join us at the Bellview Library as we discuss “Fable” by Adrienne Young. This pilot book club will take place every 6 weeks in the meeting room. 

Board Game and LEGO Day

•    Saturday, Dec. 3, 2 p.m. – Century Library

Stop by for a fun-filled afternoon of building and playing board games. The library will provide all the blocks and games.

Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt

•    Wednesday, Dec. 7, 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. – Westside Library

Santa’s elves have hidden 12 Candy Canes in the library. Find all 12 hidden candy canes and receive a prize! All ages are welcome to play.

Card Crafting

•    Saturday, Dec. 3, 1:00 p.m. – Southwest Library

Chill Fridays for Teens

Drop by the Southwest Library on Friday afternoon and de-stress after a long week with art, games, meditation, yoga, houseplants – there’s something for everyone! Recommended for ages 13-18.

Council On Aging

Join us as the Council on Aging visits WFPL and discusses resources available for the older generations in our community.

Crafternoons: Vision Boards

Family Movie Night: “The Polar Express”

Gingerbread House Building

•    Thursday, Dec. 8, 4:30 p.m. – Pensacola Library

In honor of National Gingerbread House Day on Monday, Dec. 12, we will be building gingerbread houses with graham crackers and other goodies. Available while supplies last.

Gingerbread Engineering

•    Friday Dec. 16, 4 p.m. – Bellview Library

Join the STEAM team and construct gingerbread houses for the holidays. Materials provided by the library.

Legal Services of North Florida

The Study Spot for Teens
