Escambia County issued the following announcement on January 10.
In observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the following Escambia County offices will be closed on Jan. 17, 2022.
- Escambia County Board of County Commissioners - all departments including:
- West Florida Public Libraries (all locations)
- Escambia County Property Appraiser
- Escambia County Tax Collector
- Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare
- Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller
- Waste Services Administration
- Supervisor of Elections Office
- ECAT administrative offices
- The Perdido Landfill will be open with regular hours Monday, Jan. 17.
- ECAT buses and trolleys will not run on Monday, Jan. 17. Normal service will resume Tuesday, Jan. 18.
