City of Pensacola issued the following announcement on September 3.
Tarragona Street Lane Closure to Begin Tuesday, Sept. 7
A section of North Tarragona Street from East Cervantes Street to East Strong Street will experience temporary southbound lane closures beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 for an Emerald Coast Utilities Authority water main replacement.
Only southbound traffic on Tarragona Street will be impacted by the lane closure.
Tarragona Street is expected to reopen by the end of the day Friday, Sept. 10, weather permitting. Southbound traffic will be detoured during construction.
The closure will allow the contractor to perform necessary removal and replacement of ECUA-owned infrastructure.
