Have you downloaded the Recycle Coach app yet? It's available FREE for City of Pensacola Sanitation customers, and it can help you recycle right with the "what goes where?" search tool. The top searched items in July included plastic bottles, jars, and jugs. Here's how to recycle those items:
Only bottles and jars with #1 or #2 on the bottom are accepted.
Must be empty and rinsed clean.
Remove and discard cap, lid, pump or sprayer.
Put other plastic items and containers in the trash.
