City of Pensacola issued the following announcement on Dec. 15

Pensacola International Airport welcomed Boutique Air today, Tuesday, Dec. 15, with a ribbon cutting and water cannon salute by the Pensacola Airport ARFF. Boutique Air is the newest airline at Pensacola International Airport, beginning service today between PNS and Northwest Alabama Regional Airport in Muscle Shoals (MSL).

"I'm sure there are many airports across the Southeast you could have chosen, and you chose to be here in Pensacola...," Mayor Grover Robinson said at the Boutique Air ribbon cutting. "The work that you see our team doing is allowing us to expand to more and more providers of service to more and more destinations. So we're very excited about Boutique Air, just as excited as we are about the announcements we've had with some of our other airlines here as we continue to move forward. There are great things happening at Pensacola Airport."

“We are excited to welcome Boutique Air, our seventh airline, to Pensacola," Pensacola International Airport Director Matt Coughlin said. "Pensacola is a great choice for Boutique Air’s expansion, and we look forward to this growing partnership and the many offerings to come.”

Boutique Air will offer two daily flights between PNS and MSL starting today, Tuesday, Dec. 15. The first flight lands in Pensacola at 10:42 a.m. and departs for Muscle Shoals at 11:12 a.m. The second flight lands in Pensacola at 4:48 p.m. and takes off at 5:18 p.m. returning to Northwest Alabama Regional Airport. The flight time between PNS and MSL is an hour and 20 minutes.

Speakers at today's Boutique Air ribbon cutting included Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson, Airport Director Matt Coughlin, Boutique Air Vice President of Business Operations Brian Kondrad and Visit Pensacola President Darien Schaefer.

Boutique Air lauds a private flight for the cost of commercial and will operate a Pilatus PC-12 which seats up to 10 passengers. The aircraft gives passengers the experience of flying in a private or charter aircraft without the price. Given the current health environment, passengers are looking for flights that aren't crowded with many other people. Boutique Air offers a different kind of flying that won’t break the bank and will keep passengers' minds at ease.

Boutique Air partners with United Airlines, which enables travelers to book and connect through the global United network. Passengers on Boutique Air flights can earn and redeem miles for flights through the United MileagePlus® frequent flyer program.

Boutique Air operates a modern fleet of both Pilatus PC-12 and Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft. With amenities designed to make the flying experience as comfortable as it gets, their aircraft feature reclining leather seats in an executive configuration, power outlets, a pressurized cabin, enclosed lavatory and a top speed of 300+ mph.

Boutique Air is an FAA-certified air carrier providing both charter air service as well as scheduled passenger services subsidized under the Essential Air Service program. The airline services routes in Arizona, Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
