Bellview issued the following announcement on Nov. 18
The City of Belleview will host two community holiday events in the month of December. Light Up Lake Lillian, held on Saturday, December 5th from 4-8 PM and the Christmas Parade held on Sunday, December 13th at 2 PM along 441.
Light Up Lake Lillian, featuring Kringle Christmas will feature a small craft festival, food, music, hay rides, pony rides a visit with Santa from 4–6 PM, and a double feature movie. Children will receive coloring books, crayons, a goodie bag, & balloon creations by balloon artists, sponsored by St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The festival will end at dark with the "Lighting Up" of Lake Lillian and followed by two free 30 minutes movies, "Trolls Holiday" & "Merry Madagascar". Citizens that would like to enjoy the movie, should bring a chair or blankets for their families. Due to Covid-19, the event will be scaled down, and efforts will be made to encourage public safety, including social distancing and asking vendors and attendees to wear masks and use hand sanitizer.
The 2020 Belleview Christmas Parade can be enjoyed along 441 in Belleview, beginning at the intersection of 441 and 110th St. and ending at Robinson Rd. and 441. The Parade will feature many entries form local businesses and organizations as well as our special guest Santa Claus, who will appear at the very end of the parade.
