Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Pensacola State College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Pensacola State College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida residents paid $2,704 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 302.2 percent more than residents this year, or $10,875. Their price tag was unchanged from $10,875 in 2017-18.

About 95 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Florida residents. And about 5 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 77 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 607 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.3 million and 86 students took out student loans totaling more than $215,039.

Including all undergraduates (9,773), 4,715 students used grants or scholarships totaling $21.3 million, and 696 students took out $2.8 million in federal student loans.
