Escambia County’s Neighborhood and Human Services Department is offering its Play, Learn, & Grow Summer Camp this summer, and registration is now open until May 12, 2023.

From June 6 through July 21, the Play, Learn, & Grow Summer Camps will serve children throughout Escambia County; ages 5-13.

The Play, Learn, & Grow Summer Camp will offer fun enrichment activities that include recreational sports and exercise, character-building, mentoring, free play, service projects, performing and visual arts, and academic interventions in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. Choose one of the locations below and let the fun begin:

Play, Learn, Grow Summer Camp at Brownsville Community Center
•    June 6-July 21, 2023, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
•    Located at 3200 W. DeSoto St.

Play, Learn, Grow Summer Camp at Ebonwood Community Center
•    June 6-July 21, 2023, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
•    Located at 3511 W. Scott St.
•    Contact number: (850) 426-1156
Registration Requirements:  
•    Completed registration application and $75 registration fee OR
•    Completed scholarship application with proof of income to have the registration fee waived
Applications are available for pick-up and turn-in at the Brownsville Community Center from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and at the Ebonwood Community Center from 1:30-4:30 p.m. until May 12, 2023.
