On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Pensacola Catholic High School standout Michael Smith’s current college team, the Prairie View A&M Panthers, lost 13-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Grambling State Tigers.

The game took place at Jackie Robinson Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at John W. Tankersley Field against Huston-Tillotson Rams.
