U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), in collaboration with Pensacola International Airport, will hold its first Global Entry enrollment event in Pensacola from January 19 to 23, 2026. The event is designed to provide conditionally approved applicants from Northwest Florida and the Gulf Coast region with a local option to complete their required in-person interviews.
The interviews will take place at Pensacola International Airport, located at 2430 Airport Blvd., Suite 224, on the second floor of the public conference room. Interview times are scheduled for January 19–21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time, and January 22–23 from noon to 6 p.m. Central Time.
“Global Entry continues to be one of CBP’s most popular Trusted Traveler programs, and demand for interviews remains high,” said Daniel Alonso, CBP senior official performing the duties of director for the Miami and Tampa field offices. “By partnering with Pensacola International Airport, we’re expanding access and making the enrollment process more convenient for travelers throughout North Florida and surrounding states.”
Starting in 2025, applicants under age 18 will not have to pay the $120 application fee if their parent or legal guardian is already a member or is applying at the same time.
Applicants who have received conditional approval must schedule an interview through their Trusted Traveler Programs account by selecting either “Pensacola International Airport” or “Florida locations.” They are required to bring all necessary documents such as a valid passport, photo identification, and proof of residency.
To reach the interview site, applicants should enter through the main terminal doors and proceed to the second-floor conference area. Assistance will be available through airport signage and customer service staff. Walk-in interviews may be possible if space allows.
Those unable to attend this event can use CBP’s Enrollment on Arrival process at participating airports when returning from international travel.
Global Entry is part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Trusted Traveler programs. It offers expedited screening for pre-approved members while enhancing security and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. More than ten million people are enrolled in Global Entry, which is available at land, air, and seaports across the United States as well as preclearance locations worldwide.
Approved Global Entry members also receive TSA PreCheck benefits. All program applicants must undergo thorough background checks before being invited for an in-person interview.
CBP officers and agriculture specialists conduct border security operations at ports of entry by screening international travelers and cargo for illicit narcotics, unreported currency, weapons, counterfeit goods, prohibited agricultural items, invasive pests, and other threats that could impact public safety or national security.
